Elyria, OH – In honor of February being Black History Month and March being Women’s History Month, The City of Elyria, in partnership with The Presidents’ Council, are coming together to present State Your Business: Legitimizing Your Business with The State of Ohio on March 25, 2022 from 2:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Lorain County Urban League.
This event is designed to help Black-Owned, Women-Owned, Minority-Owned and Veteran-Owned business entrepreneurs get their businesses registered with the State of Ohio. This will also help registered business owners gain access to valuable resources throughout Northeast Ohio.
This event is open to all Lorain County businesses and future entrepreneurs. Participants will be given access to resources from Minority Business Development Agency, Small Business Development Center, Women’s Business Center, ECDI, Lorain County Urban League, Urban League of Greater Cleveland, Minority Business Assistance Centers, Bureau of Workers Compensation, Hebrew Free Loan Association, Ohio Secretary of States Office, Huntington National Bank – Lift Local Program, Office of the Secretary of the State of Ohio, Verizon – Small Business Digital Ready Program and the Inclusion Marketplace.
To recognize Women’s History Month, registered participants will hear from Black and Women-Owned leaders who will share their experience navigating the entrepreneurial ecosystem in leveraging available business resources through candid conversations.
