Elyria, OH – Elyria Community Partnership and Invest Elyria have joined forces to bring Third Thursdays, an evening of live music, food trucks, local vendors and non-profits alike to Ely Square Park June 17, July 15, and August 19 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
“Ely Square is the heart of downtown and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate our history, diversity and future as a city.” shared Andrea Repko, community volunteer on the ECP Events Committee “I’m excited to see this event and future events unfold in Elyria. I’m truly honored to be a part of making this transformation happen.”
The monthly series kicks off with local favorites, DJ Rey, gospel singer B. Nicole, and a headlining performance by Daniel Spearman. Daniel will play a selection of jazz, funk, and R & B. Attendees can purchase food and drinks from on-site vendors, including Foundry Kitchen + Bar, Jones Bones BBQ, Nelly Belly Wood Fired Pizza, MODbites, The Elite Shot, Kait’s Cart and Catering and Hershey’s Ice Cream & More, while supporting local businesses and organizations, including, Lorain County Radio Control Club, Fie Kyndley, True Prodigy, MHARS, Roxy’s Emporium and Treats by Ty.
Remaining Third Thursdays dates include a hip-hop night on July 15, featuring Tenawai, Eliy Orcko, and Will Cherry and concludes with Latin City Soul on August 19.
