From having my wife and kids on the planning and design stages of the schools, to working with the contractors to fight for local and minority-owned businesses and laborers to be hired, to when we rallied as a community and fought for Hamilton to be built.
It was humbling yesterday to visit and tour the school, and see a minority-owned business and Elyria residents we fought for working on the site.
Reminds me of power of community engagement and harnessing the power of working together for the greater good.
Let’s keep going, WELYRIA!
