OUR COMMITMENT
The Committee is committed to ensuring that the diversity, equity and inclusion of all employees regardless of their age, color, race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation/gender identity, national origin or veterans’ status remains a priority at the City of Elyria.
OUR VISION
The Committee’s vision: The City of Elyria will develop and maintain equitable, inclusive and diverse policies and practices which will create, ensure and maintain diversity, equity and inclusion.
OUR EXECUTION
The Committee meets monthly and will review policies and procedures, develop educational opportunities and plan events.
OUR REQUEST
The Committee is recirculating a diversity survey. We encourage you to participate. This survey is confidential. The survey can be returned in a sealed envelope marked Human Resources. Or can be returned in the envelope to the HR Department marked “Diversity Surveys.” Let us know your thoughts!
