Beginning Monday September 21, 2020, W River Road N between Lake Avenue and Furnace Street will be closed for water main installation, sewer replacement and pavement restoration. Northbound traffic will not be permitted. Local traffic will be able to travel Southbound. The project will begin on W River Road at Lake Avenue and proceed north. The first phase will be between Lake Avenue & Furnace Street, with Furnace Street being the detour route. (Second phase will be between Furnace and SR 57). Once construction reaches the W River Road and Furnace Street Intersection, the detour route will shift and W River will be closed from Furnace Street to SR 57.
Excavation will also take place on Lake Ave at W. River with one lane of traffic being maintained in each direction on Lake. Please proceed through this area with caution.
