ELYRIA, OH – On Friday, January 17, 2020, Mayor Frank Whitfield will join Expresso Bakery and Dawg House Bar & Grill in Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies to celebrate their recent openings and strong community support.

Mayor Whitfield will first visit Expresso Bakery at 10:30 AM for a brief ceremony; He will be joined by owner Keith Black, and members of his administration.

“Expresso Bakery has already proved to be a community favorite, often selling out of product before close. Our administration is eager to support and highlight businesses that are committed to our community, and that Elyrians love.” – Mayor Whitfield

Later in the evening, Mayor Whitfield will join Dawg House Bar & Grill at 4:30 PM for a ribbon cutting ceremony with owner Rick Kroboth, general manager Ally Carpenter, front of house manager Jeni Pernes, kitchen manager Bob Doll, and bartender Tabitha Ziegman, along with members of his administration. At 6:00 PM, Dawg House Bar & Grill is hosting their Grand Opening Celebration, featuring live music by Chris Donely, a variety of prizes, and 20% off food.
