The City of Elyria offers payment by phone for your convenience. Please note that the system accepts payments by credit/debit cards only.

MAKING A TELEPHONE PAYMENT 

  1. Call the system at 440-326-1596
  2. Select language
  3. Press 1 to make a payment
  4. Enter your full account number (Example: Account number 100555444-001 should be entered: 100555444001)
  5. Enter your street number for your service location (Example: If your address is 131 Court St, you would enter 131)
  6. Press 1 to pay full amount or 2 for partial payment (Note: the minimum payment amount is any overdue balance that you have on your bill)
  7. When entering your payment amount use the star key (*) on your keypad for the decimal place (Example: For a payment of $20.50 you should enter 20*50)
  8. Enter your credit card number
  9. Enter the expiration date of the card
  10. Enter your card security code (this is the three or four digit code on the back of your credit card)
  11. You will hear your confirmation number after the payment has been approved
