Join us in honoring our veterans and military with our third annual Veteran Tree Program. The Elyria Council of Veterans has partnered with the City of Elyria to decorate two trees with photo ornaments of veterans. The trees will be on display in Elyria City Hall during the month of December.
You email us the photo, name, and branch of service of each veteran and we will make an ornament for the veteran to hang on one of the Veteran Trees.
This annual program is absolutely FREE. We will be accepting photos now through Friday, December 13th.
Veterans from any era as well as active-duty military are eligible. ECV wants to honor them all.
Veteran should have a connection to Elyria (they do not have to have lived in Elyria –you could be the connection). Email a photo (the better quality the better the ornaments will look) along with the veteran’s name and branch of service to: ECV.Veteran.Tree@gmail.com. We will reply back so you will know we got it.
If you submitted a photo in past years we still have it and it will be hung again this year. There is no need to send it again.
