SUBMISSION OF QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications for providing these services will be accepted until the close of business at (4:30 PM), Monday, November 11, 2024.

INTRODUCTION
The City of Elyria (City) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Qualified Firms, Companies, and/or Consultants for a Solar Array Study/Proposal at the City of Elyria Wastewater Pollution Control Plant, to help offset the increasing and erratic electric costs. This RFQ is intended to find firms that provide the services needed to study, design or design/install solar arrays between 0.7MW- 1.1MW in size.
DESCIPTION OF SERVICES
The Services will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Feasibility study and design of a best-fit solar array field for the City of Elyria Wastewater Pollution Control Plant.
- Identification and assistance obtaining funding strategies/financing options (if available).
- Design/build options (if available).
QUALIFICATIONS CONTENT AND FORMAT
The Contractor/Consultant shall provide a brief narrative summary of experience in providing the Services requested above. Please provide the following information, at a minimum:
- Three (3) recent similar sized projects implemented in Ohio, with corresponding references.
- Proposed Project Manager, number of years experience, and qualifications.
- Resumes of Project Manager and key personnel.
- Details of your technical approach to complete the tasks.
Submittals shall be no more than twenty (20) pages in length, including resumes.
SELECTION
The City shall review and rank submittals based on qualifications and experience. The City may require interviews/presentations from contractors/consultants, if deemed necessary. The selected firm(s) will be asked to provide the City with a proposal for study, design or design/build.
